The Omega Speedmaster 105.012 is one of the most important references in the history of watchmaking – the “Pre-Moon” Speedmaster worn by NASA astronauts during the Apollo program. Powered by the legendary Calibre 321, it is the exact reference that accompanied mankind on the first lunar landing, making it a cornerstone of Omega’s legacy and one of the most collectible chronographs ever made.
This 1967 example is presented in very good condition and comes as a full set with original box and papers – a rarity for a vintage Speedmaster of this era. The 42mm asymmetrical case features twisted lugs, black dial with baton indices, and Hesalite crystal, all original to its 1960s production. It is fitted to a stainless steel Omega Speedmaster bracelet with signed folding clasp and also includes a black Omega NATO strap for versatile wear.
Moonwatch Heritage – The 105.012 was worn on the Moon, forever securing its place in horological and space exploration history.
Calibre 321 Movement – Omega’s revered column-wheel manual wind chronograph, highly prized by collectors.
Full Collector’s Set – Rare complete package with box, papers, bracelet, and additional NATO strap.
1967 “Pre-Moon” Reference – Produced before the Moon landing, offering unmatched historical value.
Highly Collectible Vintage Speedmaster – Essential for any serious Omega, vintage, or space-themed collection.
Investment Note – References 105.012 with the Cal. 321 are among the most sought-after Speedmasters. Full sets from the 1960s are exceptionally rare, ensuring both long-term collectability and continued market appreciation.
