In addition to our fantastic collection of diamond jewellery we offer a bespoke, handmade jewellery service where each piece is custom designed alongside you to your personal specifications. From concept to completion, our Goldsmiths will talk you through every step of the process, working from your ideas and inspiration our Goldsmiths are able to design your perfect piece of Jewellery. We work closely with you to create unusual engagement and wedding rings that are tailor made to the requirements of each individual.

We are open to ideas and will endeavor to design a piece that you will cherish. Your own stones and metal can often be incorporated within the piece that we design, family heirlooms can be re-modeled and beloved jewellery can be re-cycled to create a new piece. Whether you are looking for a diamond engagement ring, wedding ring, commitment ring, necklace, earrings, bracelet or brooch we can create the jewellery you have always dreamed of as a bespoke piece.

Our workshops are managed by talented and experienced Goldsmiths, all of which have years of experience & an eye for detail. Our Chichester workshop is managed by Matt Evans, an accomplished Goldsmith with over twenty years’ experience and who completed his apprentice in the Brighton workshop just over twenty years ago. The Brighton workshop is the where the majority of our in house manufacture for Gold Arts takes place, the workshop boasts a new laser welder. And last but not least our Eastbourne workshop that is managed by Christine.

The laser welder is able to join metals with a seam that is smooth and clean which doesn’t need to be finished. This also means that materials with a high melting point as well as high heat conductivity can be welded using a laser. This is due to the small precise point and the short controlled melting period using a focused light beam that melts a very small area of metal. The main benefit of this technology is that very little heat is generated at the weld point, allowing users to weld closer to the most complicated and intricate component parts without damaging heat sensitive materials.

This machine is very technical and requires the goldsmith to have highly specialised knowledge to use it proficiently.
