The Omega Speedmaster ST 105.012 is one of the most historically important watches ever produced, forever linked to the Apollo program and mankind’s first steps on the Moon. Powered by the legendary Calibre 321 movement, this reference is the same model worn by NASA astronauts during the Apollo missions, cementing its place as one of the most collectible Speedmasters in existence.
This 1966 example is presented in very good condition and is accompanied by Omega Archive papers. The 42mm asymmetrical case features twisted lugs, a black dial with baton indices, and a plexi crystal, all capturing the true vintage Moonwatch aesthetic. Fitted to a brown leather pin-buckle strap, this watch delivers timeless style with unrivalled provenance.
Moonwatch Heritage – The 105.012 was the first Speedmaster worn on the Moon, making it one of the most iconic references ever produced.
Calibre 321 Movement – Omega’s legendary column-wheel chronograph movement, revered by collectors for its beauty and precision.
1960s Space Era Original – Produced during the height of the Apollo program in 1966.
Archive Papers – Omega authentication adding historical value and long-term collectability.
Highly Collectible Vintage Speedmaster – The 105.012 is a cornerstone of any serious Omega or space-themed watch collection.
Investment Note – Vintage Speedmasters with the Calibre 321, especially Moonwatch references like the 105.012, are consistently in high demand among collectors. Their direct link to space exploration and limited availability ensure strong long-term collectability and enduring market value.
