This antique ring was made in 1918, and is in excellent condition for its age. The medium size and ornate style means this design is favoured by men and women - a classic heirloom design. Suitable for any finger or occasion, this is a quality vintage signet ring to own.
The head of the ring is a rectangular shield shape, which is blank and would be suitable for a crest or monogram personalised to you. The ring is crafted from 9ct rose gold, with a lovely pink hue. Within the engraved pattern, you can see it is yellow toned, which indicates when the ring was first produced, it has been gilded to a bright yellow, which over the years has now created this lovely two-tone effect.
The shank measures 3.5mm at the back increasing to 12mm at the front. The ring has a beautifully clear Birmingham hallmark, which dates the ring to 1918.
