DESCRIPTION
The Ventura Chronograph watch is a faithful tribute to the original 1957. This model made watch-making history as the world's first electrical, battery powered watch. The design detail of the case of the new model mirrors that of its ancestors. Hamilton creating an automatic version of a watch famed for its battery powered movement is a bold move, although it is typical of such an innovative brand. The H24585331 model is also a fitting tribute to the ultimate rule breaker and Ventura's biggest fan: Elvis Presley. The H-10 movement that features in this model has a power reserve of 80 hours in a nod to what would have been Elvis's 80th birthday.
The design detail of the case of the new model mirrors that of its ancestors although it has a distinctively contemporary look with the smoothed surfaces. The dial is reminiscent of the 1950s Ventura timepieces, with a modern twist with black dial and baton markers, with sapphire crystal glass . It houses a H-10 Automatic movement and has water resistance of 5 bar (50 m) / 73 psi (164 ft). The 42.5mm x 44.5mm case is made of Stainless Steel black PVD with a black rubber strap.
