This vintage swivel fob is beautifully crafted from hallmarked 9ct yellow gold. The oval seal is double sided and swivels to reveal either the smooth blue agate or shiny black onyx.
Fob jewellery would have originally been a decorative element to a gentleman’s pocket watch and chain. The idea of a stone set seal, dates back to ancient times, and would have been engraved with a monogram for sealing the wax on important documents.
This pre-owned fob has a large solid loop at the top, so is perfect for wearing on a chain. It measures 32mm x 21mm and has been expertly polished to recondition the gold.
