A rare chance to buy from the Talisman discontinued collection, which was only produced for a very limited period.
The butterfly is one of the most widely depicted natural species in fine jewellery design. During the Art Nouveau period, René Lalique was fascinated with these brightly coloured creatures. The master jeweller was captivated by the butterfly's intricate design details and fluttering movements. Each individual pendant has had a pattern cut into it, which is highlighted by the matt and highly polished areas.
The butterfly charm, is made from satin finished black crystal, with a moulded decorative pattern and polished highlights, Unlike their usual Papillon range, this butterfly is flat on the back, and has an unusual textured silver loop.
Dimensions including clasp: length 1.5cm, width 2.6cm. Not supplied with a cord.
This item has been discontinued so has limited availability. It will be supplied in Gold Arts packaging.
