DESCRIPTION
The concept for this beautiful Patek Phillippe Geneve Twenty-4 For Her starts in 1999, in an effort to celebrate modern, feminine elegance and style. The piece blurs the line between horology and femme-jewellery in the most smooth of manners, suiting well upon the wrist amongst other jewellery - stacking fantastically with bracelets.
The stainless steel case construction is flanked by 36 cut diamonds, an exaggeration of the 10 set diamonds at the non-cardinal hour indices, together producing a brilliant exposé of light in luxury. Diamonds are a girl's best friend after all. The applied Roman numerals in grey at the twelve and six-o'-clock positions sit just slightly raised against the grey dial, having the double effect of elevating the class of the dial design in its subtle textural contribution. The stainless steel sword-style hands are lumed with industry-standard superluminova and will serve you nicely in the light-impoverished conditions of the night, always lending you utility especially when you need it.
At the heart of the beauty beats Patek's own 6-jewel E15 quartz calibre. Being a quartz calibre, power reserve and accuracy remain essentially non-issues, beating as long as there is charge with a need to rectify occurring only on a once in a few years basis. Being Patek's own, you can rest assured that it is a high-quality movement and will serve you well in decades to come if serviced regularly.
This particular piece is in very good condition. By eye the blemishes are unremarkable, but there is slight wear where you might expect it in, in the curvature of the ends of the bracelet links for example, when magnified during inspection of the bezel and other slight general wear. Overall, the piece is in excellent condition considering its provenance and age.
