Elizabeth Welch’s British handmade glass sculptures are a stunning celebration of the colourful natural world encompassed within the skilful art of glass sculpture. 

Each one of Elizabeth’s sculptures is carefully hand-crafted using borosilicate glass, which is melted to create her exquisite colourful and quirky pieces.

 

Elizabeth’s work achieves its bright colours using various metal oxides in particular silver, gold and germanium oxides. Taking inspiration from wildlife across the world, Elizabeth Welch’s collection is an impressive glass menagerie of colourful creatures.

 

 

Elizabeth crafts all of her sculptures in her studio in Angmering in West Sussex. An expert in glass work, Elizabeth offers one to one tuition and classes in her studio to anyone who wants to try their hand at this special craft.
