This vintage fob is beautifully crafted from yellow gold. The round seal reveals a smooth bloodstone of dark green with red flecks. Fob jewellery would have originally been a decorative element to a gentleman’s pocket watch and chain. The idea of a stone set seal, dates back to ancient times, and would have been engraved with a monogram for sealing the wax on important documents. This pre-owned fob has a twisted S-shape loop at the top, which tests as 9ct rose gold. The fob has a yellow gold colour and tests as higher carat then 9ct, around 14ct. The fob is perfect for wearing on a chain as a pendant or small enough to add to a vintage inspired charm bracelet . It measures 28mm x 12mm and has been expertly polished to recondition the gold. The charm is part of our pre-owned collection and has been hygienically cleaned and lightly polished to restore the shine and preserve the detail. It has been fully checked and tested so you can buy with confidence from Gold Arts.
