Pre-owned Patek Philippe Golden Ellipse Ref. 3548 in 18ct yellow gold, circa 1970s.
The Golden Ellipse is one of Patek Philippe’s most recognisable vintage dress watch designs, with a slim oval case and clean two-hand dial layout.
This example features a 27mm x 32mm 18ct yellow gold case and is fitted to a generic black leather strap with an 18ct yellow gold PP&Co signed buckle. The watch is powered by the Patek Philippe Calibre 23-300 manual-wind movement.
The watch is presented in vintage condition, with age-related wear visible throughout. The dial shows pronounced speckling and patina across the surface, clearly visible in the images, giving the piece a distinctive aged character. The case shows signs of wear consistent with age and use, while the strap is generic and shows visible wear.
The watch is currently offered without its original box or papers. A Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives has been requested and is currently pending. Serial numbers are present and recorded internally.
