A truly unique piece of jewellery, this vintage cocktail ring has been made from luxurious Platinum with geometric Art Deco design, embellished with glittering diamonds. The centre stone, is a large oval cushion cut diamond of 2.66ct measuring 9.85 x 7.66 x 4.78mm. An AnchorCert Gem Lab certificate has been obtained for this large diamond, with a grading of L colour and SI1 clarity. The symmetrical Art Deco design has been created using rectangular Baguette Cut diamonds and Old Cut Round Diamonds. Antique Old Cut diamonds, were originally mined and cut pre-1930. Old Cuts have slightly different proportions to the modern brilliant cut, with a deeper crown and flat cullet. It would have been shaped and faceted without the modern technology the diamond industry relies on today, making an old cut diamond something to admire. Crafted from Platinum, the ring is made to a high standard and is a well balanced shape. The ring head measures 20mm x 17mm and would fit a finger size K 1/2.
