The alluring Asscher Cut is one of the lesser known fancy cuts for Diamonds, which has been used since the Art Deco period. Also known as a square Emerald-Cut, it produces a wonderful display of fire and brilliance, and the optical illusion known as the “Hall of Mirrors” effect. This fabulous stone is claw set in the centre of this gorgeous trilogy ring has a carat weight of 0.94ct and measures approximately 5.7 x 5.5mm, with an assessed grading of G/H colour and Si clarity. The Art Deco shape of the ring is created from superbly shaped Trapeze Cut Diamonds, in graduate pairs, with a total carat weight of 0.20ct. The sophisticated Trapeze or Trapeziod cut diamond is a tapering rectangle shape, which makes an excellent partner to asscher cuts, and is an exciting modern alternative to baguettes, with more sparkle due to the larger surface area. Precious durable Platinum is the perfect choice, adding strength and beauty to the ring. The ring mount has a court profile for comfort and is 1.5mm. The Asscher Diamond has a neat 4- claw setting, and the Trapeze diamonds have a smooth rub-over edge which seamlessly joins the shoulder of the ring.
