This gorgeous antique ring has shimmering pearls and twinkling old-cut diamonds. With the lovely clear hallmark, we can date this ring to 1907, the Edwardian period. The diamonds are antique Old Brilliant Cut Diamonds, originally mined and cut pre-1930. Old Cuts have slightly different proportions to the modern brilliant cut, with a deeper crown and flat cullet. It would have been shaped and faceted without the modern technology the diamond industry relies on today, making an old cut diamond something to admire. Hand crafted from luxurious 18ct yellow gold, the shank measures 2.5mm at the back. The ring is currently a size M and may be suitable for resizing depending on your requirements. The head of the ring measures 16mm x 5.5mm. This ring is part of our pre-owned collection and has been professionally cleaned and polished to perfection and fully checked and tested so you can buy with confidence. Please note this is an antique ring, and there is wear / damage to the pearls which is reflected in the price. This is a wonderful heirloom ring, and will need to be be worn with care.
