If you love the look of the Moonwatch but want a slimmer, automatic chronograph that slips under a cuff, the Speedmaster Reduced is the sweet spot. The 39 mm steel case preserves the iconic Speedmaster DNA—black tachymeter bezel, twisted (lyre) lugs, and a matte black tri‑compax dial—but in a proportion that works on nearly any wrist. The domed hesalite crystal gives that warm, vintage charm and the legibility Speedys are known for.
Inside, Omega’s Calibre 3220 brings “set‑and‑forget” convenience: an ETA‑based automatic with a Dubois‑Dépraz chronograph module for crisp actuation, 4 Hz reliability, and a ~40–42‑hour reserve. It’s the practical Speedmaster you can wear daily—30 m water resistance, robust steel case, and easy strap changes thanks to the 18 mm lugs. No wonder this discontinued series (1988–2010) has built a cult following among enthusiasts who want the Speedy look with everyday ease.
