A beautiful Art Deco inspired cocktail ring, wonderfully glamourous with the intense shiny black onyx contrasting against the white sparkle of the diamond. This statement cocktail ring measures 19mm x 14mm with the old cut diamond set with a delicate milled finish into the glossy slab of black onyx. The ring is currently a size I. If you require an alternative size, please contact us. The centre diamond is an old cut cushion shape diamond, originally mined and cut pre-1930. Old Cuts have slightly different proportions to the modern brilliant cut, with a deeper crown and flat cullet. The carat weight for the diamond is approximately 2.55ct and has been assessed as J/K colour and SI2/I1 clarity The dainty 1.2mm width shank of the ring tests as Platinum and is set with tiny diamonds on the shoulders. The ring is an vintage piece and has some signs of wear including minor chips to the edge of the onyx. The ring is part of our pre-owned collection and has been professionally cleaned and polished to perfection and fully checked and tested so you can buy with confidence.
