This beautiful antique pendant is wonderfully feminine, with the daisy cluster suspended from a double diamond drop. The central vivid blue sapphire is rub-over set in rose gold has a diameter of 4.5mm and is approximately 0.40ct. Encircling the Sapphires is a halo of uniquely shaped Old-Cut Diamonds, each with a diameter of 2-2.2mm, they have a total carat weight of approximately 0.50ct. The pendant is a mix of White Gold and Rose Gold, with the rich warm rosey tones you only find in antique jewellery. The piece probably dates from the Edwardian Period, judging by the style, gemstones and setting. The pendant loop appears to be more modern, so perhaps this pendant was once part of another piece of jewellery that a previous owner wanted to renovate? The pendant measures 28mm x 11mm x 5mm. It has a few signs of wear, but has been professionally cleaned and polished and fully checked and tested so you can buy with confidence at excellent prices. The pendant is not hallmarked, which is typical of a period piece, but has been tested and verified as 9ct Gold and weighs 1.4 grams.
