From 26th December 2020 in line with government tier 4 restrictions, we will be temporarily closing our Gold Arts stores in Brighton, Chichester and Eastbourne.

In line with government guidelines our shops will be closed to customers from the 26th December 2020 due to tier 4 restrictions. We are sad not to see our customers in person but our website showcases many of our best selling items, which can be ordered and posted to you.

Our goldsmiths and design team are taking commissions for bespoke jewellery and we have sales and customer service staff operating from behind closed doors, so if you have a query please do not hesitate to contact us.

Our workshops will be open for manufacturing and any repairs that are currently with us will be finished and posted out on completion of payment.

To talk to our staff or place orders you can contact us between 10am – 4pm. We are providing a click and collect service, by appointment only and with a 24 hour notification period.

How does Click and Collect work?

For email/phone orders and website sales you can still choose the option to collect in store. Due to current Covid-19 restrictions our stores are not open to the public, but you can make an appointment to collect your purchase. Please allow us a minimum of 24 hours notice from time of purchase to the collection time. Please contact the store you wish to collect from and the manager will discuss an agreeable time slot.

I saw an item in your store, but I cannot find it on the website, how can I purchase this item?

Not all of our jewellery is shown online, but we can still help with your purchase even though our stores are closed. Our store managers are available by phone or email and we offer free postage on items over £100 or a free click and collect service in our stores. Please phone or email the store where you saw the item. The manager will ask if you wish to be invoiced via BACS or PayPal and the payment must clear before posting or collection. Please note we cannot take credit card payments over the phone, and collection appointments require a 24 hour notification period.

How can I get my ring resized which I purchased in store?

Please contact the store you purchased it from between 10-4pm and discuss your requirements with the store manager. You are welcome to post the ring or arrange a drop-off / collection time. Please allow us a minimum of 24 hours notice for appointments in store.

Can I still get a repair or bespoke design made in your workshop?

Yes! Our goldsmiths are still working hard in our workshops, and can still do most repairs, although the time scale may be slightly longer in some cases. We are also keen to take on bespoke designs and one-off commissions for special unique items of jewellery with the same excellent personal service you would normally receive at Gold Arts. Our designers can communicate effectively via email and phone conversations, so don’t delay on ordering that special piece of jewellery. Please contact Kerry for more information

Can you still guarantee next day delivery?

While we strive to deliver all orders over £100 with free next day delivery, the current Covid-19 restrictions have made this a little more challenging. Due to the shops being closed, staff access to the stock is restricted so we may not be able to guarantee that your purchase is processed the same day. We are also reliant on courier and post office services which also face their own challenges. In most cases we are still meeting our high standards of efficiency but please accept our apologies if your purchase doesn’t reach you within the timescale expected.

What Covid-19 safety precautions are you taking?

At Gold Arts we take our customer and staff’s safety as a priority. In line with government recommendations, we have made a thorough risk assessment and implemented all necessary precautions including easily accessible sanitiser, masks, protective screens, increased cleaning, social distancing and customer number limitations. Our stores are currently closed to the public due to tier 4 restrictions, but we are able to offer a safe click and collect service by appointment.

Are you still purchasing jewellery and watches?

Yes, we are always looking to buy a variety of watches and jewellery items, although our procedures have changed in line with covid-19 restrictions. Please contact Doug via email at to arrange posting the items or arranging an appointment.
