It would have been shaped and faceted without the modern technology the diamond industry relies on today, making an old cut diamond something to admire.  The largest diamond has a width of approximately 6mm, and the total diamond weight for the necklace is about 1.30ct. The diamonds are bezel set with a slight milgrain edge, to add an extra twinkle.   The necklace is made of predominantly Platinum, with the reverse of the pendant and brooch attachment of yellow gold. The platinum chain fastens with a box clasp and figure-8 safety catch, and including the pendant, the necklace has a total length of 18'.  This is an antique necklace, and is in excellent condition for its age. Our workshop has lightly cleaned the necklace and we would advise an awareness of its heritage when wearing.
